I should have been here yesterday, but it was a terribly overworked day, so I'm a day late. Sometime just before midnight I faced the choice of starting at least four to six hours of work or declaring that I was going to be off on Friday and work Saturday instead.

I've been paying for it with a lot of work today, and a wife who supported the decision last night but opposed it this afternoon.

I'm also not entirely certain what I've accomplished. I did, however, squeeze in recoding these pages for the Temporal Anomalies site:

• Star Trek Generations, in which I voice complaints about more than just completely incomprehensible time theory.
• Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, a pretty good movie with a lot of interesting wrinkles in time terms.
• Mass Suicide and the Grandfather Paradox, which tackles the assertion of the fixed time theory that what has not happened cannot happen.
• Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, which destroys everything they accomplished in their first film.
• The Addendum to Terminator, answering a question about time theory (the page already exists in different format as the first of the letters).
• Terminator, the first two movies unraveled in a way that makes them work.

It's already getting late tonight, and I've got an early and long day tomorrow, so I'm not going to wrack my brain trying to think of what else I did, but just go on and do something productive--the forum games, the end of tonight's work.
