It's the first complete draft of Multiverser: The Third Book of Worlds, thanks to the time I took yesterday to type up the changes to Lilith's World and to print out the entire document (which bears the unlikely file name, "preface.doc"). Sure, it's riddled with errors. The switch from Roman to Arabic page numbering is a page off, so all the odd and even numbered pages are on the wrong side. One of the maps appears to be pasted twice. There's still some confusion with the last world, because there were some sections that probably were intended for deletion but were not so marked, so they're just sort of extraneous materials at the end. Altogether, though, I've got one hundred fifty seven pages, sixty-nine and a half thousand words, hours of work still ahead, but the first clear picture of what this book will contain.

Then today was pretty much shot to bits with driving people places, including a trip to take my mother-in-law to the bank. I'm kicking a good part of today's work into tomorrow, and then packing it up with most of tomorrow's work and booting it all into Saturday, which I will be unable to take off because tomorrow I have to return to the northern mountains several hours hence to retrieve Tristan from his camp counselor orientation session. Mercifully, when he returns Sunday the drive is only into Camden (we'll forget that it is officially the most dangerous city in the United States, shall we?) to catch a bus with a bunch of campers, so I don't have to keep making the climb to the top of the mountain in the truck. It is still going to make Sunday rehearsals difficult.

Today I'm focused on getting through the Gaming Outpost stuff, and the post to the Romans list, and that will satisfy me. I need to get enough sleep for a six to eight hour drive tomorrow.
