It appears that I made my observation just in time about the one hundred post gap between my blog entry number and the blog link number. A busy Eric has not only wrapped up his latest World a Week: Evansdale IV, but has posted a new blog entry as well, bemoaning the loss of labor to a computer glitch (I feel the pain, as it has happened to me as well). I stopped reading my third novel, For Better or Verse, with I think one minichapter to go. (Those not familiar with Verse Three, Chapter One may need some explanation of the "minichapter" concept. There are three characters in the novel, and perspective keeps shifting from one to another. This is not uncommon in novels, and is usually done with a small break in the flow of the text. However, since my three characters are in completely different worlds for much of the time, the breaks become numbered chapters. There are about a hundred twenty minichapters in the book, some a mere page in length, few longer than perhaps a half dozen pages, each telling the next piece of the story.) I realized I should be in bed, and anyway I think I wanted not to have finished the book quite yet. I do need to go back and figure out how to put together my character sheets for these characters; but maybe an idea is forming. Tuesday is a busy day; I'd better get busy. --M. J. Young
