I made some inquiries today, meeting the man who is starting the new coffeehouse near here. He has no vision for a youth outreach ministry, but is targeting the adult community. That's a valid decision, but it leaves the new band Collision out of things. It also doesn't help that this particular individual is old school, somehow thinking that rock and rap music cannot really be used by God. My wife's response is that his plans to include jazz in his shop has her upset, that he would consider permitting such satanic music in a Christian venue. I can only smile. It has not distressed us, though, as Baxter and I are confident there will be a venue, even if we have to launch it ourselves at the right time.

I did a bit of work on novel character sheets, but mostly I did a lot of driving, running a few short errands after work and then picking up a son's girlfriend from the opposite end of the state, probably seven hours of Saturday devoted to that, and probably a like portion of Tuesday, the day on which she is planning to return.

I am back to attempting to plan a live game in Delaware for Thursday, again invitational for a few people who have taken enough of an interest in the game to become involved in the company, but who have never actually played it. I've received no response to this point, but communications are not always as effective as technology suggests. Of course, that makes this week very busy, but hopefully I'll get through it.
